The great Esporta rippoff

With the bill for Esporta at £750 renewal, I decided enough was enough and dumped that sorry ass gym.

The lack of leg training equipment, non existent gym staff and a TV system that breaks constantly is no use to me.

I’m moving to Venice Physique or LA Fitness.  Venice at least charges per visit only.

Walking it off…instead of cycling/running it off.

Found my new found hobby of hillwalking to really burn more calories than cycling or running at the gym.

Great results, 4lbs per month.  Gonna proceed on this plane further.

Bloody painters…

I’ve had the painters here for nearly 2 weeks.

The gym schedule has gone to crap.  Sunday and Saturday only two days last week.

Sucks.

But they will be gone soon and I’ll get back to cardio 3-4 times a week.

Lost 9lbs since holiday

Managed to lose 9lbs since holiday (6 weeks), that’s due to exercise, eating less and eating less crap.

I’m actually doing a bit less cardio than normal but have got my appetite under control.  Sometimes after cardio I’m so hungry that I over eat.  Instead I have a protein drink then a normal breakfast.  The increase in protein really helps me keep my weight under control.

Less cardio….still losing weight

Seems I’m still getting leaner but not doing cardio after weights.  This means I recover better and I expected to put on some more beef quickly but it’s not happened.

The combo of l-glutamine before training then creatine some hours after training with lots of protein in between seems to work.

I’m trying not to overeat and to eat less….it seems to be working so far.

Did have to really push myself through the last workout, maybe I didn’t digest my breakfast properly, but I was glad when it was over.

This week I’ve training twice at the gym and had zero bad food except a bit of cheese on my homemade pizza.

Low carbs on the days I’m off too.
